License Terms

NeuroTerm is provided by Ecro ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using NeuroTerm, you agree to these terms. They take effect on October 1, 2026.

From version 1.11, NeuroTerm never checks a license. These terms rely on honesty.

Every feature of NeuroTerm, Neuro included, is free for individuals, with no time limit and no usage cap. Any individual may install and use NeuroTerm for themselves, including at work, at no cost. Students, teachers and open-source projects use it free.

NeuroTerm may not be redistributed or bundled with other software without prior written consent.

An organization with more than 10 employees that deploys NeuroTerm to its staff or standardizes on it needs one Commercial seat per user, at $49 per user per year.

To decide whether you have more than 10 employees, count the employees and contractors of the legal entity that uses NeuroTerm, not its parent or group companies. An organization deploys or standardizes on NeuroTerm when it installs it for its staff, tells its staff to use it, or makes it the standard terminal for a team. An individual who installs NeuroTerm on their own initiative, where the organization has not installed it for staff, told staff to use it or made it the standard, uses it free. A user is each person at the organization who uses NeuroTerm while it is deployed or standard there.

The LemonSqueezy receipt and order number are the record of the seats you bought; there is no license key. Seats are per user, not per device, and can be moved to another person when someone leaves. Each payment covers one year from its date, the date on the receipt. Commercial renews every year until you cancel. To cancel, go to neuroterm.lemonsqueezy.com/billing, enter the email you bought with, open the sign-in link LemonSqueezy sends you and choose Cancel on the subscription; nothing renews after that, and the seats stay valid until the end of the year you paid for.

Supporter is an optional one-time payment. It adds no features and grants no Commercial seats, except the earlier licenses described under Earlier terms and purchases.

Purchases of NeuroTerm Pro, the $29 product now named Supporter, are recognized as Supporter purchases. A NeuroTerm Pro purchase is not a Commercial seat, except that NeuroTerm Pro licenses an organization bought for its staff count as Commercial seats until September 30, 2027.

The earlier terms allowed commercial use at no cost. An organization that started using NeuroTerm before these terms were published here needs Commercial seats from January 1, 2027.

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
• Remove or modify any proprietary notices or labels
• Distribute, rent, lease, or lend the software to third parties
• Use the software for any unlawful purpose

These restrictions do not limit any right you have under the licenses of the open-source and third-party components shipped with NeuroTerm. Where a component's license allows you to modify, reverse engineer or relink it, such as relinking a library under the LGPL or the reverse engineering the Microsoft WebView2 notice permits, that license governs the component.
